Chris is back from Nepal. He was there for about 3 weeks and took about 4,000 pictures. The beauty though with digital is you can weed them out as you go. He bought two 80GB hard discs, specified for over 18,000 feet to store them on.

The higher you get, the drier it gets. At least on our trek that was clearly the case. Here are some strategies the trek group came up with to cope with the dust and make sure it wouldn’t affect the cameras too much.
