Exposure Compensation
Definition
Slightly incorrectly exposed images can be corrected with the Exposure Compensation. This feature is mostly found in professional cameras. There are fixed EV values you can use to correct the exposure.
Exposure compensation can also be made on your computer; e.g in the RAW Converter of Photoshop CS 2.
