AF Servo

Definition

Autofocus Servo is an ability of several cameras to focus on an moving object. This function is mostly found on D-SLR's.

While being in the first trigger modus (trigger not pressed completely), the autofocus-engine is working the whole time to keep the moving object on focus. In my camera (Canon EOS 20D), the picture will be shot when the trigger is fully pressed, regardless of the autofocus state.
