Use a tripod?
I get rid of camera shake in multiple ways.
I use a Nikon D40 DSLR and I use it’s Sports mode for getting rid of shake. But then there are times when I feel like tweaking the settings, and those times, I use the the D40 in Shutter Priority mode. Or if I am utterly desparate, then I use the Full Manual with the aperture wide open.
However, there are all those times, when I have a ton of time on my hands, when I can peacefully setup a tripod, and actually take relaxed pictures without worrying about it walking away(e.g. landscapes or interiors).
I also use a small beanbag or cushion, If I am shooting from the car.
