Chris, I love the post you did on this photo. Have you tried using a reflector while shooting the video? This will brighten your face, so you can still have the sky behind you without underexposing your face so much. It can make a world of difference.
@Dan: heheh.. you’re hereby invited to join in on the next taping to hold the reflector. In all seriousness, reflector would indeed have helped, but you typically need an additional person to hold it (don’t even try reflector holders on stands while it’s windy) and more time to produce.
