Here’s the first in a series of short video tips. Learn how to hold your camera in order to avoid camera shake. You’ll see more of those video shorts in the future. But don’t worry, they won’t replace the regular shows.
Note: if you have an issue downloading the file with iTunes (exclamation mark next to it), here’s how to fix it: delete the item, then close the feed (click the small triangle next to the name) and re-open it while holding the Alt key (Mac) or Alt-Shift (PC) - then the video should load.

Good tips. I know when I first got my dSLR, I was holding it all wrong — but it felt more natural coming from a P&S. I quickly learned how to hold the camera as you’ve shown here, and now anything BUT that feels VERY unnatural.
Very interesting video, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Paul
I like it.

great job chris
very slick video Chris!
Some people might not even think about how to hold their camera so it’s a great tip that will transform the way they work from now on.
