		<description>Thanks for asking that question CC. Even with a pinch lens cap I was worried about scratching my Nikon lens. Its not always easy to rich inside the lens hood place the pinch lens cap alligned to the the rim perfectly.

		<description>As far as the lens caps for hoods, they can be found on ebay by typing &#34;pinch lens cap&#34; and many are made without company logos. Some online camera shops also carry covers that slip on over the entire hood. I think they are made of neoprene and simlar materials but I don't remember the official name for them.</description>
