    Chris,

Another great podcast… however, there was no need to make apologies for the diminishing frequency of your shows. I think that I speak for many of your listeners when I say that I am proud of your recent acomplishments and that I understand work and business take a priority over hobbies, especially at this early stage in your career. Producing a podcast of this caliber takes time and dedication. So if this means less podcasts… so be it. Keep up the good work and …Happy Podcasting!!!

Hi Chris — I just wanted to say that I am SO glad to have found your podcast (yes I know I’m EXTREMELY late to the party). I have just made the jump from my Canon P & S (S2 IS) to the Canon Rebel XT DSLR and am starting at the very beginning of your podcasts to see how much I can gleen. I literally have no SLR skills other than what a few friends have told me, but REALLY want to be able to take some GREAT pics of my oldest son playing football and am hoping that the Rebel will help me get those. I did listen to your episode discussing your view of "equipment" and am wondering if you think I’ll see a difference between the S2 IS and the Rebel. My main problem with getting nice crisp clean shots of my son playing football seems to be the lighting conditions (most games are at night under stadium lighting) as well as the fact that I’m quite far from the action (I typically shoot on a tripod from the bleachers). Please feel free to visit my personal knitting blog at http://www.DancesWithYarn.com which has many of my "grainy" football pics as well as some not-as-grainy knitting pics and let me know if you have any suggestions for me.

BTW, I just calibrated my monitor with your wonderful directions and also played a bit with the "unsharpen mask". I’m pretty sure listening to your podcasts will be very high on my "to-do" list and will be doing my best to catch up to your current shows.

Thank you so much for putting your shows out. I too podcast (www.CrochetCast.com) so I know how much time and effort goes into producing these shows. If you ever need to know how to knit or crochet…..

    ;-)
