    Solid work there Mr. Marquardt!

Hey I just wanted to leave another link that people might be interested in. I’m reading a book by Bahman Farzad called The Confused Photographer’s Guide to Photographic Exposure and the Simplified Zone System. I have only gotten through half of the book and it does a great job of explaining how your light meter works as well as understanding the Zone System. A little more advanced than the beginner probably wants to read.

Another book by the same author is called "The Confused Photographer’s Guide to On-Camera Spotmetering goes into how your in-camera light meter works. I haven’t started reading this one yet but it looks good as well. Both can be purchased through Amazon and you can go directly to Bahman’s website at: http://www.simplifiedzonesystem.com

I agree what Mark said. The books by Mr. Farzad are all great. Mr. Farzad personally gave me the book named "The Confused Photographer’s Guide to Spot Metering" (free of charge, thanks Bahman :) ) , and this is by far the most useful book I have read on camera. If you still confuse about how to get a consistent exposure, stop using the auto mode, stop using the matrix metering. Switch to manual mode and understand how spot metering can help you by reading this book.

http://www.photocastnetwork.com/ looks like a great idea - half the podcasts I subscribe to are there. One thing, I couldn’t find the site’s RSS feed - there must be one - what’s the url?
    Good luck - Martin
