Hi Chris.
Excellent show. I had the same problem only the other way around. I was in a hotel room in CZ and the flowers on the window sill as well as the fountain in the park across the street were in full sunshine. I wanted the picture with details of the window curtains ‘inside’ the room which was not in direct sunlight. With your tips I will get the details like I wanted. Thanks again!
Hi Chris
Digital Image Mover is an excellent tool thanks keep up the great work.
The result is impressive, but I’m really curious to see the shape of the curve you used for this. Could make a worthy addition.
Hi Yann,
it was basically a "normal" bell curve, e.g. just the middle tones pulled up. The mask prevented the bright parts to be affected by that change.
Chris,
Love the show. Listen to podcast each weekend. I almost always learn something from your shows. I was very interested in trying the Summer Constrasts procedures from tfttf131 but try as I might, I could not get the "undocumented keystroke shortcut" to work with Photoshope CS and my Macintosh using OS 10.4.7. I think I tried all possible combinations of Apple (Command), Option, Control, and Shift with the "~" (tilde) key and no selection was created. Did you ever figure out or hear what the Mac keystroke combination was?
Chris, after my comment of minutes ago, I discovered both the shortcut and the solution to why the "Select Highlight Values" undocumented shortcut did not work in CS on a Mac. The answer is documented by Adobe at: http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331722.html and the keyboard shortcut is Apple + Option + ` (no need to add Shift key as that only changes the ` character to the ~ (tilde). Both work equally on the Mac.
Thanks again for a great show. Keep up the excellent work.
